It looks like the iPhone is getting a 3DS emulator in the not too distant future (thanks, Retro Dodo).
A post on Twitter shows 3DS being played on Apple's popular smartphone, suggesting that an App Store launch could be coming soon.
It is reported that a recent iPhone will be required to get the most out of the emulator, so anticipate having to own an iPhone 15 to get games running at full speed.
Naturally, you'll lose the auto stereoscopic 3D effect, too. It's also thought that this will cost $4.99 / £4.99 when it eventually arrives.

If it's built using Citra's source code, that probably gives Nintendo grounds to issue a takedown, like they did with Suyu being forked from Yuzu.
We'll see I guess.
Already have delta for my iphone 14 plus, I wish for sega consoles and arcade emulator now 😃
I am interested in 3DS emulation on Nintendo hardware foremost. But I’m not expecting them to give it the dedication I’d like to see. Which is fine because I’m still gaming on a selection of various 3DS hardware. Just imported a Japan exclusive OG model recently. I did have to replace the bottom panel of that unit, which shows that it’s a system falling into the aged hardware category and emulation will be needed at some point. But also I’d like to be able to recommend 3DS games to friends that will only have access to games on current/new Nintendo hardware now and in coming years.
